Hot sex... syrupy, unrealistic romance : The Look of Love: The Sullivans, Book 1 (Contemporary Romance)

I just happened to be skimming through some listmanias and found Bella Andre - and with all those stars I'm going to try her books. I bought The Look of Love and Taste me (just in case...).

As I read Chase & Chloe's story I couldn't help thinking that this story is what many women want. We want to stumble over a guy who is our every dream during the blackest moments of our lives, and Chase is that guy. I don't care that he's rich, but he's intensely attracted to Chloe right away, partly protective instinct but far more the woman he sees in her eyes. He thinks she's absolutely lovely and she knows she's ordinary. We never see in ourselves what men do, hey? So it's very difficult to believe when they see exactly what they have been wishing for. Women aren't alone in that.

So I'm a strong woman who has had to play the be-all single mom who can handle anything, been alone a lot in my life and I'm not afraid to say that I would love to have a man that I could let shoulder some of it sometimes. A gentle guy with a spine who's willing to take a little care of a woman; guys should realize that we take care of them in infinite but different ways.

There's no way I won't finish this series and I've already picked up some more of Bella Andres work. How perfect for a long, hot summer. Nothing delights me more than finding a new author to love.
